You’ve picked up your new motorhome & now are ready to explore the world BUT have you ever wondered what the journey was for your motorhome before you collected it?

The motorhome arrives with Choose Leisure

Used motorhomes come to us via two ways. Some used stock we buy from customers who part exchange their vehicles and others we buy from our trusted sources. We only buy vans that we consider to be top quality and we like to keep a wide variety of stock at all times. Our aim is to have something for everyone according to a wide range of needs and budgets.

Vehicle Health check completed

Once the vehicle arrives on site, we carry out various checks and tests to ensure that the vehicle is ready for sale. The vehicle will be checked for damp, check that all of the internal and external components are working as they should be and note any work that needs carrying out before the vehicle is ready to be sold.

The Clean team begin their work!

Once checked over the vehicle then passes to our valeting team who ensure that everything is looking its best and spick and span for its photo shoot!

Lights, Camera, action!

All clean, the motorhome makes its way to the marketing team who take external and internal photos and list the vehicle up for sale on our website. We try to describe the motorhomes in as much detail as we can, as they are all so unique and each appeal to very different people.

Enter you…

The motorhome is now on our pitch, ready for viewing. At any one time we on average have 70-80 used motorhomes available to view. Choosing the right one for you is the toughest decision with so many options and layouts to consider but the team are always on hand to help. Like looking at a house or a car, you always know when you’ve found the one for you. Paperwork is completed with the sales team and you fix the date to collect your new home on wheels.

Behind the scenes preparations

While you are eagerly waiting for your handover day, our technicians are ensuring that the vehicle has had all of its pre-collection checks carried out. A full habitation service, cam-belt change if needed, MOT if required plus any additional work that you have asked to be carried out has been completed and the valeters get to work again on making everything shiny for the big day! With such an experienced and well-equipped workshop team, it can be around 7 days from sale to collection.

Handover day!!

The day has arrived! When most of our customers come through the door, they are a mixture of nervous but very excited. Knowing that there are new things to learn but excited about trips that they have planned. Our Handover Technicians, Dawn and Mark, take you through every detail of your new purchase and demonstrate everything working. No question is a silly question, they have completed handovers for everyone from a first time novice to someone who has bought their 12th 'van from us! Once you feel confident that you are ready to hit the road, the last of the paperwork is completed and you can be on your way…
