"I don’t mind telling you we were dreading going to buy a motorhome. To have to listen to all the sales pitch and spiel that goes with it too. It is meant to be an exciting, special adventure, but we really were not looking forward to it. That all changed when a happy, cheery face greeted us and we were lucky enough to get Elliot as our salesperson. We are very happy to say we found the motorhome which suits us perfectly and the experience from start to finish was great. I'm sure all the other salespeople are just as good as Elliot. Elliot was friendly and knowledgeable from the start. He wasn’t pushy, and we are pleased to say he is a genuine guy, and this to us is important. Nothing was too much trouble for him; he looked after us and listened to what we were saying, answering all the questions we put to him. So, we are very happy to say we had a great experience when purchasing our motorhome. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and the after-sales questions we had were answered with patience. So that was Elliot, the cheeky chappy, who even did a little dance for us. Dawn and ‘The Handover’ Dawn did a great handover; her knowledge is excellent. She went through everything step by step, explaining things perfectly. She took her time, making sure we understood what she was saying, while giving us time to process things. Obviously, it is all too much to absorb in one go, but we know at any time she will be happy to answer any question we may have in the future. Dawn even made sure our dog was comfortable. Thank you to those who looked after us and made us feel welcome, making sure we were comfortable and had drinks. I know it is all part of the sales technique, but at the end of the day, it is whether you feel you are being treated with respect, which we were. We are very happy motorhome owners. "My wife and I recently purchased our 24-plate Swift Escape 694 from Sales executive Elliot Reid at Choose Leisure in Canterbury. We had always planned to buy a motorhome, but due to unexpected circumstances, my wife retired earlier than planned, so we decided to bring those plans forward. We visited the Canterbury showroom one Sunday afternoon with no real expectations. Although we had a good idea of what we wanted, we knew finding the right motorhome could take time. On arrival, we were greeted by Elliot, who was friendly, polite, and keen to understand our needs. We explained our fairly specific requirements, including a fixed bed and a few extras. Elliot showed us a couple of suitable options without any pressure or hard selling, which immediately put us at ease. We quickly ruled one out, but both of us were drawn to the Swift 694 straight away. As complete novices, we had plenty of questions, all of which Elliot answered patiently and knowledgeably. He gave us space to explore the vehicle at our own pace, and we soon decided it was the right one for us. (Be warned—his dad jokes are plentiful, and his love of Only Fools and Horses is unmatched!) On handover day, we were looked after by Mark, who was equally patient and thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions, ensuring we felt confident before leaving. We were also treated to a couple of excellent cups of tea from a very friendly member of staff. Overall, our experience with Choose Leisure was smooth, informative, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish".
"My husband and I went into the showroom thinking we knew what we wanted. Both Alyson and Elliott were amazing. Elliott showed us a van we hadn't even considered which we ended up purchasing!! We cannot fault the service we received and have since recommended your company to others. The handover with Dawn was very good as there is a lot to discuss and quite complicated but we managed to make it an enjoyable experience. We've had a few issues post purchase and our initial dealing with the service team could have been better but our other issues since then have been dealt with promptly and they have also liaised with the product company to chase things for us. We didn’t feel pressurised, our questions were answered and after the test drive he allowed us time in the van to deliberate. He explained all the documentation, payment requirements and hand over details clearly. "We turned up at Choose Leisure, simply wanting to confirm the Auto Sleeper Kingham met our requirements. Elliot explained all we needed to know, in a knowledgeable way and left us to it - no pressure or hard sell. Within an hour or two our Tracker FB was sold and we'd bought the Kingham. I cannot fault the professionalism of the team, Elliot who made the whole thing possible, the finance team checking funds in and especially Dawn who spent a long time expertly showing and demonstrating the features of the Kingham in the hand-over. Although we have bought and sold caravans and motorhomes in the past we've never experienced such a easy and pleasant purchase nor experienced such a useful and comprehensive hand-over. From the day I turned up all scruffy by my standards until the day I drove out in my 2019 Swift Escape motor home I really honestly can’t believe the highest, honest since level of service I received for everyone at Choose Leisure. On that day Paul greeted me. I was not intending to buy another motor home. But the stars must have been aligned that day. I said to him I would like to part exchange my mh for for a newer model He said, take a look around at my own leisure. So that’s, what did.. After, seeing 10-15 second hand but beautiful presented m homes. I saw exactly what I was looking for. Cut a long story short.. I paid deposit. Paid the balance. Dawn, I guess the expert in anything you need to know about the m home your purchasing excellent “ concierge” showed me everything in detail. Nothing was to much trouble for her".
"MOT & intermediate service day at Choose Leisure. Recent back injury threatened to scupper the day, but late physio session evening before made it doable although uncomfortable. Big thank you to Choose Leisure Chauffeur Mark, for finding suitable vehicle I could get into for taking us into Canterbury for the day and going out of his way to ensure vehicle interior was as toasty as a slice of granary under the grill, and passenger seat equally heated and warming before departure. Not to mention offering to come out to us again in town, with my glasses case that had quietly disembarked jacket pocket. Not to be outshone, big thank you to Service Alex for investigating and sorting some very last minute sundries in addition to said MOT and service. Top blokes. Top Team. Top that! ".
