This Halloween why not visit the village of Pluckley (25 minute drive from Choose Leisure).
Officially the most haunted village in England, its reputation is justified by its 12 resident ghosts, of which countless sightings have been reported over the years!
Look out for a vengeful highwayman on Fright Corner and the so-called Red Lady who wanders the churchyard. Other ghouls you can expect to meet on your travels include phantom horses, ghostly monks and pub poltergeists. Or you could take a stroll through the temptingly nicknamed ‘Screaming Woods’…
Or as we’d prefer, close the blinds, get the motorhome warm and cosy before tucking into a nice hot chocolate!
