Practical Motorhome said, "There’s much to commend this comfortable and bright van which was a popular choice among our judges, all of whom liked the spacious lounge area and excellent washroom. The rear lounge is extra comfortable, with armrests and corner headrests on the settees.
A huge Heki and three windows let in plenty of daylight, and at night there are no fewer than eight spotlights. We also appreciated the one touch-sensitive LED in the ceiling, and ambient light above the lockers.
The side kitchen is also well lit, with a large window, a second Heki, the sunroof over the cab, and two LEDs and a strip light under the overhead locker. And what about that central washroom? It screams quality and features a swinging partition that you open out to create more room for a separate shower cabinet."Best Motorhome for Couples - Auto-Sleepers Nuevo EK
Practical Motorhome said, "The Nuevo EK, a cosy end kitchen two-berth, has always been one of Auto-Sleeper’s most popular models. There’s a kitchen extension you can pull out that works as a serving hatch or even a cocktail bar, while the great corner washroom has a surprising amount of headroom for a van conversion and a really solid partition that swings across to reveal the shower.
This season, as a special Anniversary Edition to mark the Cotswolds company’s 60th birthday, it came with a combined heating and air conditioning system. This means that, as long as you keep running off electricity, you can maintain a constant temperature in your van no matter where you are or what time of day it is.
As an Anniversary Edition you of course get special upholstery, including scatter cushions that are so large you might not need to bring any pillows with you."
The Auto-Sleepers Broadway EL was also shortlisted for this category.Best 6 Berth Motorhome - Bailey Autograph 81-6
Practical Motorhome said, "With its smart good looks, powerful engine and large interior, the 81-6 makes a great choice for those looking for a 6-berth model that provides excellent accommodation with plenty of great fixtures and fittings.
The fully specified cab features cruise control, driver and front passenger airbags, air conditioning and Peugeot Satellite Navigation system and there’s a Truma 100 watt solar panel for off-grid holidays.
The kitchen is fully kitted out with Thetford ‘K-Series’ combined oven, grill and hob, and Dometic 10 series 153 litre electronic fridge freezer, and we liked the look and comfort of the ceiling mounted mechanically operated Alu-Line transverse drop down double bed."
Measuring over 8 metres this van maximises space and features – a great option."Best A-Class Motorhome - Carthago Chic C-Line I 4.9 LE/L Superior
Practical Motorhome said, "There’s something about the styling of this elegant A Class that speaks of quality and sophistication. It packs a lot into just under 8 metres, by virtue of its neat corner kitchen and a clever changing room that can be separated using a bathroom door with 3-way function.
The lounge is spacious with a wide side bench and rectangular living area table with chrome piping. Neat touches include the swivel-out shoe cabinet, designer shelves in the bedroom and the LED lighting technology with dimming function.
There are five berths in total with a spacious rear bed and a fold-down bed and we particularly like the large, central loading space, conveniently loadable from inside and outside via an adjustable floor flap."See the full list of winners from the Practical Motorhome Awards 2022
